Oregon sunstone contains a rainbow of sparkles in a stone that looks like it trapped the sunshine. The lovely yellows and oranges of the transparent part of the stone are so reminiscent of spring and summer sunny days. The multicolored spangles in the stone give it a sort of magic.

These earrings are small at only an inch and one eighth long, and very lightweight so you can wear them comfortably for as long as you like.

Oregon sunstone is closely related to labradorite. Instead of the flash of color that labradorite displays, Oregon sunstone is filled with tiny copper crystals, which also give it the body color. These crystals give Oregon sunstone the inner sparkle known as schiller in a particularly glittery form.

Oregon sunstone is said to lift flagging spirits and to bestow extra mental stamina on the wearer.
