"Brown Boobies in Oil" is a framed pastel work with iridescent pastels and gold ink. Th original work is 5" X 5" and is matted and framed in silver foil, 10" X 10" complete.

This work is part of my Gulf of Mexico oil spill series. As events of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster unfolded I couldn't help but be moved by the loss of human life and the incredible threat to the environment and the economy for this embattled region. Most shocking was the unexpected color of the oil. Work with this series continues.
