Wish Horse is a 7" by 5" scratchboard drawing. It is matted with a standard white mat backed by beautiful slate blue charcoal paper in a solid black wood frame that is 15" X 12".

About 15 years ago I was on a plane to Ireland with my mother, aunt and uncle. I was living in a place called ArtSpace Hartford and I loved it there. A couple of times per year (now just once) we opened our doors to the public. I named my studio "Wishhorse" for a saying my Irish grandmother used to use: "If wishes were horse, beggars would ride". I changed it for my use: "If wishes were horses beggars would ride. I am no more a beggar, this is my wish horse." My wish horse was living in a building with so many other artists, all talented in their own way. It finally was my time to make art for a living.
