This gorgeous slice of lemon meringue knitted cake makes an ideal pincushion for when you are sewing or doing needlework. But the handmade novelty cake slice does not have to be used as a pin cushion, it could be decorative or used as toy food for young people at their teddy bear picnics.

The knitted lemon meringue slice has a cream base like pastry, a slice of lemon and then white bobbly yarn as the meringue. Along the inside edges is a piece of plastic canvas to keep the sides upright and the cupcake has been filled with toy stuffing.

4.5" x 1.75" / 11.5cm x 4.5cm
