The pin is a heavier piece but the earrings are LIGHT.

Bought this pair of Parklane Earrings in the 80's.
They were just so heavy, but oh, so beautiful.

I took the earring backs off and replaced them- in this set with a pin back and in my stash of cabochons I had the almost perfect match to the centre 'pearl'.
A lucky match.
A gorgeous set.
