To attach the mailbox topper to your mailbox, you drill two small holes in the top of the mailbox and bolt the topper on. I would also put a small amount of silicone sealant on each bolt. If you decide to take the topper off, you just put the bolts back in the holes with more sealant on them.

When looking at metal silhouettes keep in mind that the small the gauge number the thicker the metal is. IE. 14ga is thicker than 16ga.
