A handmade Buttercream Crunch (candle only) scented natural palm wax pillar candle. The 3 inch diameter X 4 1/2 inches tall natural palm wax pillar candle weighs approximately 1 pound. This natural palm wax pillar candle is scented with a fragrance that smells just like Buttercream Crunch, but without the calories. The smell is strong enough to make your guests hungry without being overpowering or heavy. It is described by the manufacturer as the aroma of a fresh baked butter crunch with creamy coconut, sugary sweet maple, and rich butter. I think the candle has a wonderful sweet butterscotch smell, buttery with a very light coconut, maple and vanilla presence. I am sure there is much more to this complex fragrance with its heart of fresh ginger, nutmeg, and decadent cocoa. This moderate scented candle with good hot and cold throw is a welcome addition to the many bakery-scented candles available during the spring and summer time. The candle is colored a tan gold with the surface crystals giving the natural palm wax pillar a silvery sheen, perfect for any season. Palm wax is very clean burning with little to no soot. The wick I have chosen has been engineered to self trim. My latest tests have indicated that trimming only when necessary works best. I feel that keeping the wick centered within the diameter of the pillar, and a 2.5-hour maximum burn time will yield a much better performance from the candle. A beautiful "crystal like" pattern will show through the candle wall as it burns. A metallic instruction and safety label is attached to the bottom and may be left on the candle. The pillar is shrink wrapped to preserve the wonderful fragrance, and a beautiful custom designed label indicating the scent name is affixed to the outside of the wrapping.
