A 3 inch dia. X 4 1/2 inch tall handmade natural palm wax pillar candle scented with a fragrance called Cinnamon Bread Pudding. This scent is described as a blending of aromas from creamy vanilla, nutty walnut, sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey to create a delectable candle fragrance. Wrapped in vanilla and honey are nutmeg, cinnamon, and a nutty walnut follow. If the smell from this candle does not make you hungry nothing will. I have colored this candle a beautiful rich yellow. There is a silvery effect coming from the crystal ridges a characteristic of the starburst blend palm wax. Palm wax is a fantastic material for making candles that burns with very little soot. The candle has good cold and hot fragrance throw, and weighs approximately one pound. I have sized the wick to create a thin wall around the flame as the candle burns down. A very nice effect is given off by the flame shinning through the crystal loaded candle walls and the body of the candle. Eventually the wall will erode and be consumed by the candle. It is important to keep the wick centered in order to maximize this effect and get the longest burn times from the candle. Palm wax has a very different feel to it, and an awesome appearance due to the crystal formations on the surface of the candle. Burn this candle just like any other candle. Use the following guidelines to get the most out of your purchase:
1. Keep the wick centered within the within the diameter of the candle. Do not allow the hot wax to break through the candle wall, extinguish the candle and relight as soon as the candle cools.
2. Trim the wick to 3/16 to 1/4 inches prior to burning. Too long a wick will cause the candle to flicker uncontrollably, although a little flicker is okay. This reduces the life of the candle.
3. Burn the candle in an area absent of drafts, and for no more than 2 - 3 hours at a time or roughly 1 hour per inch of diameter.
4. Follow all the safety guidelines written on the candle labels.
