Product Description
This is a gourd with pyrography artwork and a jute rope base. It measures about 8 inches in height, 4 inches in depth and 7 inches in breadth. The outside of the gourd has been finished with a clear acrylic and the inside painted with a subtle, pale yellow acrylic. I've incorporated the stem into the overall design.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
The inspiration for this piece is the ducks that used to have the run of my yard -- that is, until the big, bad racoons picked them off. Ya just can't trust a racoon, no matter how cute they are.
