You'll get plenty of compliments with this handmade, one-of-a-kind, sewn fabric purse that's both pretty and practical. Cut from a modified Palm Harbor Designs pattern, it's made with 100% cotton fabric inside and out, and the focal point on front and back are stately double peacocks. Primary colors are light and dark pink, (rose and soft fuchsia), soft blue, and splashes of lime green, gold, and scarlet.

On either side are two pockets for carrying beverage bottles or anything that you need handy in an instant. The pointed pocket flaps are decorated with teal/aqua colored plastic buttons that compliment the other blues in the bag fabric.

Lining consists of fine quality batik cotton with soft colors of blue and gold in a tie-dyed effect. There are inside pockets - 1 medium and one very deep medium sized with a sewn in slot for a pen/pencil. The top of the smaller pocket has decorative machine stitching in a feather design with peacock blue thread.

The bag bottom is reinforced with plastic to resist sagging. While not quilted, bag has been made soft by the use of fleece linings. A magnetic closure keeps the purse shut.

The two fabric handles are knotted, which not only makes a fashion statement, but also takes the hassle out of keeping track of 2 separate handles. For model shots, please refer to the photos of my other peacock purses, (which are the same dimentions).

Dimensions are about 10.75" tall X 10.5 wide and 4": deep. Handles stand about 17.5" above the top of the purse.

The fabric used in this purse has been pre-washed. To clean, spot clean or hand wash, blot between towels or machine spin, lay flat or hang to dry. Iron with cotton setting as needed.
