Romantic pullover vintage top that dates to the late 1960's.

*I can verify its age, because I am the original owner and wore it during high school. It was the perfect piece for a typical "Flower Child" ensemble!

*MMade of either woven cotton lawn or voile, (I'm guessing voile), with a delicate blue floral print, and is lightweight and semi-sheer.

*Would look stunning with pretty lace camisole underneath, and I believe it's meant to be worn as such.

*Shirred in double rows with elastic stitching, which gives the garment stretch that it wouldn't otherwise have.

*Puffed sleeves have the same elastic smocked effect.

Condition:
There is a bit of fraying on one section of the bottom hem, due to the fabric pulling away from the tiny machine stitched hem. Unless you know a skilled seamstress, I would suggest leaving it as it or gently trimming the loose threads away. As it is, the machine stitching in the hem should prevent any further fraying.

*No sewn in tags, and I'm not sure there ever were any due to the sheerness of the fabric. I can guarantee that the age of the top is accurate because I wore it in high school.

*Because this is made for a very petite girl, I would suggest that it be worn by someone with a diminutive figure or be kept as a collector's piece. Measures 28" at bust, unstretched.

Has been cleaned and stored in a cedar chest, and should it need cleaning again at any point, I highly recommend hand washing only with mild detergent, air drying, and light iron touch-ups to the non-elastic areas of garment only.
