Beautiful lace and beaded bridal trim, cut and saved from an Indian formal dress. Although most of my trims come from used old sari's this one was most likely was cut from a salwar kameez.

A soft light pink lace stitched onto a light pink tulle, enhanced by hand with silver and copper zari stitching and embellished with little pearl beads and silver sequins.

This piece is an exquisite example of the hand work that is known to India, nowadays in the west everything is by machine so to have a piece that was loving stitched is priceless.

This trim can be used for bridal or formal wear it could be added to cuffs or to a bodice. It would also make a stunning evening bag.

It is used so there are some slight flaws but nothing that cannot be fixed and this also gives it its vintage touch.

The trim measures 2 yards and 4 inches or just under 2 meters long. Width is 2 3/4 inches or 6.5cm.
