Rowdy Raccoon is a child size small hat with matching mittens. The mittens are attached by a crocheted cord that fits through the sleeves of a coat so that the mittens do not get lost.

He is made from a durable worsted weight yarn that is machine washable/dryable and will keep your child snug and warm in cold weather. Rowdy comes with a matching original storybook for your child's entertainment.

Please note that this item uses Buttons as decorations and therefore is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

I love to knit items for children, especially unique ones that will appeal to them as well as the the child within us all! After finishing the hat, I thought it would be more meaningful to have a book with a story about Roddy, so I created a booklet to match.
