Our sweatshirts are in unisex sizes. This sweatshirt is made of a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend material in a cheery Paprika (orangey pink) and has a matching drawstring. The chest measurement of the garment for a Large is 48 inches around and has a length of 28 inches. There is also a wonderful pouch pocket on the front which can be used for keeping your hands warm or your cell phone handy!

The embroidery design has two intertwining Celtic Knots in the background. One is done in a bright blue, the other in purple. Both are great accent colors to the body of the sweatshirt. The ghillies are embroidered in black for the back foot and a deep charcoal gray for the front (this allows for a little more depth). Over all this is an elegant design intended for a special dancer.

Ghillies are a soft shoe made of leather (almost always black) that are form fitted to the foot. These shoes are held onto the foot via criss-crossed laces going up the top, much like tennis shoes. They are used by women in Irish Dance, men in Scottish Country Dance and both men and women in Highland dance. Other names for these dance shoes are soft shoes, pumps, pomps and light shoes.
