This 19-inch princess-length necklace is composed mainly of luscious 10x14mm deep teal Austrian crystal rondelles. Deeply shiny by nature due to the quality of the glass, these beads have a shimmering "Aurora borealis" coating on top of that, making them absolutely stunningly glittery. To offset the dramatic effect of the teal, I added faceted light aqua acrylic discs with silver-plated accent beads. The pale discs bring down the intensity of the piece, which is put together on 18 gauge silver-colored, electroplated, tarnish-resistant copper wire links. The color is blended into the copper - it is not a coating. Necklace is finished with a handmade S-hook clasp.

Matching earrings have silver-plated earwires and wireworked spirals.

While this necklace contains substantially hefty glass and wire, the petite length ensures that it'll be very comfortable to wear. It doesn't catch on things, it frames the face, and it clears the neckline of most ornate blouses.
