A 14-gauge red brass hammered scroll, dripping with shimmer-finish cut crystal beads in purple and black. Finished with matching black and purple bead-links on 18-gauge red brass wire. This statement necklace features a handmade 14-gauge hammered S-hook clasp, also in red brass.

Red brass is a warm gold color when brand-new, and ages to a pleasing antique-y dark gold for a "vintage" look that contrasts nicely with bright shiny cut crystal beads. If you prefer the bright gold look, simply soak your entire necklace in a dilute solution of white vinegar and water until the bright color returns.

Buyer's note: These necklaces are photographed immediately after they are crafted, and may have darkened since they were listed; I can't keep up with them all! I am attempting to update listings with photos showing the patina these pieces take on over time. Also, I'm more than happy to do a simple cleaning if necessary. Whatever suits the customer!
