At the first job I had in art, the owner had three dachshund dogs that came to work with her everyday. This portrait is to celebrate Daisy Dolittle, one of those dogs.
I wanted to justapose the browns and oranges in the dog against the bright blue background. I love exploring and pushing color in my work.
