The Maremma sheepdog is one of the oldest of the sheepdogs with a beautiful white fluffy coat. Originally used to guard flocks, it is now a guard dog and family pet.
This original watercolor sketch features this sheepdog. It is sketched in Copic pen and ink with washes of watercolor. The background is a very light blue.
The sketch measures 5 1/2" x 5 3/4" and is done on rag paper with transparent professional watercolor and copic pen and ink.
This original watercolor is a work on paper, it is unmatted and unframed.
