This mixed media art charm features a purple shrink plastic flower against a splotchy green background. The purple flower has an iridescent white/pink flat-backed rhinestone in the center, and the reverse of the charm features an abstract floral print in black, with another sparkly flat-backed blue and purple rhinestone in the center.

The art charm in the picture is representative of this edition of art charms, meaning you might not get the exact one pictured, but they all look alike. The only difference between the charms in this edition is the placement of the black abstract floral print on the reverse.

Including the jump ring, the charm measures just under 1-1/8 inches in length, and comes with an adjustable waxed cotton cord so you can wear it as a pendant if you like. I seal my work to protect it, however, mixed media pieces such as this one should be treated with care - it should not be exposed to much moisture, so don't wear it in the pool or the shower.

What is an Art Charm?

An Art Charm is a tiny work of art with a jump ring on it for attaching to something - a bracelet, or used as a pendant, or incorporated into home decor. Art Charms may be made of almost any kind of material, using almost any kind of artistic technique. An Art Charm is the product of an individual artist or collaborative group, but not something that has been cranked out in a factory. Many contemporary artists worldwide are making and swapping Art Charms.
