This skeleton key features one of my borosilicate glass beads made directly on the key. (The bead does move along the shaft of the key.) I created this bead using a dark sparkly aqua blue and put clear dots around the circumference of the bead to magnify the lovely blue and to give the bead more of a retro Sputnik look, to go with the styling of the key. Once I'm finished making a bead, it goes into my digitally-controlled kiln to anneal (cool down) properly. Each skeleton key bead ships with an adjustable black cotton cord - the cord is a little stiff at first, but it gets softer with wear (like a new pair of jeans). If you prefer a split ring instead so you can enjoy this as a key ring, please indicate your preference in the notes. Your purchase is wrapped in white tissue paper and tied with pretty yarn, then wrapped in bubble wrap for safety before mailing. I recycle & reuse mailing materials whenever and wherever possible.
