***Echoes of Thunder***

Lampwork beads in deep oxblood red with pale green and blue in the handmade etched boro beads, matched with the wonderful rich patina in the copper ammonite charms. There is a wonderful contrast between the colors and the textures of the etched lampowork and the copper charms. I finished these one-of-a-kind earrings with antique copper bead caps and leverback earwires. The total length is 2 1/2 inches.

I felt here were two directions to go with the pattern in these gorgeous charms. Instead of going toward a tranquil seaside theme for these earrings, I chose a more dramatic mood. Picture in your mind how you are jolted by a sudden boom of thunder during a summer storm.
