For this purse I used a purple mohair yarn with a thread of gold in it to crochet 478 aluminim can pop top tabs together. For the liner I picked up the gold colour in a creamy golden fabric with heavy embroidery. The purse closes with a zipper and an additional pop tab was crocheted in black to be used as a button . The flap over the zipper is left unlined so the button can use the holes in the mesh.
I used a different design for this purse and made it cylindrical (barrel shape) The ends are about 4 inches in diameter and the body of the purse is about 12.5 inches across. The strap is about 1 3/4 inches wide and 42 inches long.
I have made a matching gadget case, (sold separately) which is shown in the last photo.
CARE
The yarn used is mohair so I would reccomend hand washing and letting drt flat or on a gentle setting like fluff to prevent shrinking.
The tabs are smooth side out so it is not scratchy on your arm plus they are lined. And being crocheted together the bags and wallets are very pliable.
