The Original Sky Captain Propeller Steampunk Bobby Pin

This piece has been, ahem, "copied" as I'm sure you can guess since it made the front page of ArtFire. Why buy a knockoff when you can buy a quality original?!

This working and fully functioning propeller (just flick it for fun) is topped with a sparkling genuine Swarovski crystal in AB for a little retro glam because every girl needs just a touch of sparkle in her life. :)

The bobbie pin measures 2.25" long. The propeller measures just shy of 1" in diameter (including the blades).

The cup the propeller is securely adhered to, is soldered to the bobbie pin. The piece "houses" the propeller in this little cup via a cold welding compound for security. This is not a flimsy bobbie that will break after one use. This is a solid piece of jewelry/accessory.
