So what is too small for most women to wear but the perfect size for a laptop or tote bag? A size 3 Tommy Hilfiger skirt of course!

My husband hand painted this Tommy skirt to pay homage to RENT (which I love). It sat around for a little while because apparently most people don't wear size 3 mini skirts. So I decided it was the perfect size for a bag and voila! here it is. This bag is terribly unique and has many uses - laptop bag, book bag, large purse, rad diaper bag and more!

I kept the skirt whole so all of the seams etc. are intact. I let out the hem and resewed it, making a wide and strong denim bottom of the bag. I added a lightweight red corduroy fabric for the lining as well as for the handles. The exterior of the bag has 5 pockets - the jean pockets still complete.

Measurements:
approx. 16 1/2" x 13" x 3"
Handles are 3/4" wide, approx. 27 1/2" long with a drop of approx. 13"

CARE:
Hand wash in cool water; Air dry. Once item is dry, you may lightly iron (avoiding painted areas) or tumble dry low to remove wrinkles. Some fading of the paint is to be expected with continued use and/or washing.
