Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I was at a convention in Omaha in 1986 when I purchase this bowling shirt in a thrift shop. That same day stop at a little bar to have a hambuger and beer. Cost was about $3.25 to eat lunch. As I started offering some of my vintage clothes I remember this bowling shirt and google Dinkers bar. It is nice to know the history of items we have.
More Info
Statement from the bar itself states " Dinkers has been an Omaha landmark since 1965. In August of 1965 "Dinker" Frank Synowiecki opened Dinkers, a small neighborhood bar in the heart of Sheely Town, a Polish immigrant area. Our staple then was cold beer, good friends, and friendly service.
More than 40 years later, we're proud to say that while our staple has expanded from cold beer, to cold beer and great food, the corner-
stone of our business still remains the same. We are a friendly family establishment, serving up the best hamburgers and homemade specials in Omaha!
