What is this rock? I do not know
I found it in the backyard tho...

Actually I have tried for years to find out what this stone is. It appears to be a sandstone but that darkened concave hole is the mystery. It doesn't resemble the 'nutter stones' because of the darkened hole. Its too small to be a stone oil lamp. Did a gazillion drops of water carve the hole? Then why is it darkened???
The mystery can become yours if you so choose...

I wire sculpted with a pale peach wire that almost resembles copper BUT this wire is plastic coated, so you'll never turn green. Accented with indigo and gold plated beads and of course you know you're gonna find a heart on all my sculpts; dangling in the upper right is a purple heart of royalty cause this is no ordinary rock!

Finished sculpt is 2.25" x 1.25"
