To focus on Perseverance, I used the symbolism of the strong Maiden and the Mare. The symbolism of the Horse represents strength and free spirit. We see the Horse totem as resilient, never giving up, persisting until they have reached their goal, and that's what I have tried to bring to the canvas. A reminder no matter how discouraged or weary we may become, to keep going until we get there.
