Like a wild garden exploding into blossom, this hand embroidered guitar strap is rich with the colors of summer flowers. The guitar strap is hot orange satin hand embroidered with light and dark pink rose buds and the pastel orange and peach of honeysuckle, with climbing stems of various shades of green and brown filling the front of the strap. The stitching is very stylized and detailed, using both thick twisted embroidery thread and conventional multi-strand embroidery thread. I intentionally gave it a crowded, tangled appearance to mimic what a wild, untended flower garden might look like. The back lining of the strap is a rich, deep green satin and the leather tabs are black premium suede leather.

Florida summers are an explosion of colors and scents, violent and languid all at the same time. It's often just too hot to tend your flower garden so mine runs wild during the summer. I've tried to present that sensory experience on this guitar strap.

My guitar straps are amazingly comfortable. The 3 inch width allows for weight distribution over 50% more area than conventional guitar straps and even solid body bass players have commented on how comfortable my guitar straps are. Further, because there are 3 bottom layers of fabric between your shoulder and the polypropylene foundation, there is a soft cushion to help further distribute the weight of your guitar without holding the body heat that standard lamb's wool shoulder pads retain, so your strap is soft, cool, and comfortable. No more aching neck or shoulder and no more pressure points.

One of the things about living in Florida is that the flora can become a cacophony of sorts. Loud colors, the busyness of tangled growth, insects buzzing as they move among the flower blossoms. There is an urgency to life in Florida summers and I hope I have adequately captured that for you.

CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 3 inch wide (7.62 centimeters) and 6 foot long (1.83 meters) 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap adjusts from a maximum length of 6 feet (1.83 meters) to a minimum length of 39 inches (.99 meters).

LEATHER TABS - The leather tabs are comprised of a 3 inch by 8 inch section of top quality leather, folded over a commercial grade plastic anchor bar and trimmed to shape. The two sides of the leather are then glued with commercial strength tanner glue and double whip stitched with heavy waxed leather sewing thread designed specifically for stitching leather. The button hole is hand punched and cut to precisely fit a standard 12mm guitar pin.
