I love this baracelet. It has a small Paua shell heart that I handwrapped in copper and attatched it to a bone disk.
Then I strung on sandcast beads, bone beads and copper and silver spacers, on leather. It is 2 strands and has leather ties.
Bracelet... 5-1/2" and will open to 9-1/2".

My people, the Native Americans used abalone shells a lot in their adornments.

Native Americans, along with other cultures used Abalone shell as a decorative jewelry and for carvings. A disc of abalone shell is worn on the forehead of Apache girls as they greet the sun in the morning of their initiation into womanhood.
Paua shell is thought to Intimately connected to the sea - represents the tides of emotion
