These eight hand-shaped round beads are made entirely from one of the new Double Helix glasses. This premium American glass is infused with silver, and when worked correctly in the flame, creates a shimmering rainbow of surface color over a base of transparent green. Please note that, due to the reflective nature of this glass, they were hard to photograph. These beads are more transparent in person. And yes, that is me and my camera you see reflected in them if you look closely.

Each bead was hand shaped and only slightly graduated, ranging from about 12mm to 13mm. The two end beads are more rondelle shaped than round but are a pair. Wound on a 1/16" mandrel, they were digitally kiln annealed, meticulously cleaned and inspected closely.
