This cabochon is made from some very high quality old stock Stone Canyon Jasper from California. Rarely is it found with this much Chalcedony making a very stunning and translucent cabochon. This is a great collector piece.

Recommendations:
Although Jaspers can sometimes be somewhat brittle. This cabochon is not! It is very hard due to the amount of Chalcedony present. It should be quite durable for nearly any piece of jewelry desired. As always, protect your cabochons and cabochon jewelry from scratches by storing in individual bags or compartments.

Each of our cabochons has been meticulously hand crafted. These are not mass produced tumbled cabochons that you can buy at your retailer.
There is a slight bevel on the side of each cab to aid in setting the stone.
Please Note: This cabochons is free-form. We do not cut our cabochons to be calibrated. Cabochons are custom cut for beauty and design. Many of the cabs are cut by "feel" and are cut as each stone "wants" to be cut. Any cab that happens to be calibrated is coincidental.
