This cabochon comes from a piece of rough that was given to me over 15 years ago. This is Indian Blanket Jasper from Enterprise, Utah. This cabochon is great for both the collector and the jewelry designer that is looking for something to make there jewelry really stand out.

Indian Blanket Jasper is extremely difficult to obtain in this quality! The quarry owner stopped selling this material several years ago. Instead, this material was crushed up and used for landscape rock and to make roads and concrete. What a real shame!!! This beautiful material is now long gone, however the quarry is still in operation. The rock currently coming from the quarry looks nothing like this material and is nowhere near lapidary grade.

I have a limited supply of this fantastic material that I bought several years ago and when it's gone, it's gone. Each piece of this jasper is unique with different colors and patterns. Be sure to get it while you can.
