The smooth surface of this cabochon lets its natural beauty and sparkle shine through. Oregon Sunstone has a unique "shiller" affect caused by microscopic copper platelets, creating a highly sought after beautiful shimmering affect. This cabochon has been oriented so the "schiller" effect shows pink schiller across the face of the cabochon. In order to cut the sunstone in this manner, nearly 70% of this very costly material had to be removed. This exceptional cabochon will make an amazing piece of finished jewelry or be a great addition to any gemstone collection. This cabochon measures approximately 9mm X 19mm. Approximately 5.5 Ct.

All my cabochon stones are cut by myself, using diamond abrasives. These are not mass produced tumbled cabochons. If you really want your handmade creative projects to stand out, try using a handmade designer cabochon.
