This is a very unique material that we were able to acquire enough to make a very few slabs out of. We bought this material at a gem show near Tucson, Arizona several years ago. We have not been able to get anymore since then.
We bought this directly from the person who mined it. He said he got it on a local ranch in Southern Arizona but had to bury the hole every time he collected the material to keep the cattle from being injured.
This is hard material that takes an excellent polish. We would love to get some more if we could.

The first three images were taken outdoors in full sun to get the most accurate colors possible in the photographs. The fourth image was taken indoors with a flash showing how the cabochon was measured.
