Sun hat in 1920's fashion style. Handmade in a butternut orange straw (sinamay) with hand sewn details. The bias banding along the edge of the cute upturned brim is made from a satin fabric cut on the bias and applied by hand. The hat is detailed with a very sheer multiple orange shaded gauze chiffon. I have used a complementary abstract chiffon to make a large flower in the front of the hat, accented with a glass beads. I can make this hat in any color choice and size.
This hat is made to fit a small 21 1/2" to a 21 3/4" head measurement. I will be happy to make you your own hat in this style in your size and color choice. Contact me with your head measurement.

I personally create each hat one at a time, they are not mass produced and no two are ever exactly the same. My summer cloche hats are hand blocked using a vintage wooden form. The highest quality fabrics are selected for the hand sewn details.

"IMPORTANT" How to measure for your hat size. Take a cloth measuring tape around the back of your head and over your ears. Have the tape meet on your forehead where you want the hat to sit. Do this several times as an accurate measurement is important. A 1/4 inch off in a measurement can make a difference in your hat's fit.
