Edwardian riding hat for weddings or reenactments. This handmade hat is covered in a textured jacquard fabric in teal scrolling tapestry fabric. The bottom of the brim is done in a pale complementary nubby matte teal fabric. The details of the hat are done in a simple classic tailored style. A over sized taffeta bow accents the back of the hat with a draped band around the crown. The front of the hat is embellished with a flounce of taffeta in and teal in the center a rhinestone piece of vintage jewelry becomes the focal point surrounded by feathers. There is a hand sewn taffeta binding which is placed around the brim of the hat. To secure the hat on one's head I have included a elastic string which can be pinned and hidden in one's hair.

My hats are 100% handmade using traditional tailoring techniques. I make my hats with the highest quality fabrics with hand sewn lining and details. This hat is made using a buckram wired frame and then covered with quality decorator fabrics.

"IMPORTANT" How to measure for your hat size. Take a cloth measuring tape around the back of your head and over your ears. Have the tape meet on your forehead where you want the hat to sit. Do this several times as an accurate measurement is important. A 1/4 inch off in a measurement can make a difference in your hat's fit.
