Colleen is a country girl, in her boots and overalls, ready for a day riding horses. She stands about 16" tall and is hand sewn from muslin and stuffed with natural wool stuffing. Her clothes and boots were also sewn by hand with great care. Her cheerful blue eyes were hand painted with fabric paint and her long chestnut hair is plaited into a single braid. Her green blouse has a tiny red flower print and fastens down the front with three snaps. Her denim overalls have straps that fasten at the back waistband with snaps. She even wears flower print underwear with her name printed on the waistband. Her cowboy boots are made from imitation leather with polymer clay soles. I've signed and dated the bottom of her right foot. Colleen is a one of a kind original creation, hand crafted with loving care.

Colleen embodies the spirit of a country girl. She loves the outdoors and all the animals in it. She doesn't mind getting dirty, so long as she's having fun. Some aspects of my late stepsister inspired this doll. My stepsister was always so full of life and had such a bright, lively spirit. I always admired her, and this doll is just a small tribute to her.
