OOAK Lighted Miniature Polymer Clay House in the Shape of a Boot

Product Description

This one of a kind sculpture was created by hand using polymer clay. Reminiscent of "The Old Lady Who Lived in A Shoe", this is a house in the shape of a boot. The sculpture stands 8 1/2 inches tall and the base measures 8 inches at the widest point. Inside is a battery powered light, with the switch on the bottom of the sculpture. The front patio was made to look like stone with wooden steps leading up to the front door. Two toned pink flowers grow from blue flower pots sitting at either side of the steps and trail around the door and up the front and side of the boot. A gray cat sleeps on a blue bench in front of the toe of the boot. All of the windows are framed in blue. There's even a balcony covered in flowers. Yellow trumpet flowers climb over the side and back of the boot. Beds of blue star shaped flowers can be found growing along the back and sides of the boot. This unique sculpture took weeks to complete, with each flower, leaf, and shingle being sculpted individually. I've signed and dated the bottom of the sculpture, which I've covered with felt.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

This is my version of "The Old Woman Who lived in a Shoe", only I chose a work boot to be the house. I put a LOT of time and effort into this piece, adding all sorts of little details to make it more interesting and engaging.
