This one of a kind pretty green spring fairy was sculpted by hand from polymer clay and is surrounded by animals and bright yellow flowers. The fairy sits 4 1/2 inches tall and the base measures 5 inches at the widest point. The fairy has blue glass eyes and shimmering white yarn for hair. She wears a necklace of yellow flowers and her dress is a lovely blue. Her forest friends include a striped skunk, a bright pink butterfly, a brown and white rabbit, and a bird with red feathers perched on her knee. The fairy sits in her favorite patch of yellow flowers and welcomes Spring with her animal friends. I've signed and dated the bottom of this piece, which I've covered with felt. This unique fantasy sculpture is wonderful way to welcome spring!

This piece was created for the Polymer Clay Smooshers guild Spring Challenge. For me, spring has always meant flowers coming into bloom and animals becoming active and scurrying about after the long winter. I see beautiful little fairies flitting amongst the flowers and helping them wake up :-)
