These purple Cheshire Cat earrings were inspired by Alice in Wonderland and were sculpted by hand from polymer clay. The eyes, smile, and stripes were made from glow in the dark clay, and create a magical effect in the dark. These are surgical steel post earrings, with the post baked into the head, and the backing baked into the body. They measure about 1 3/4 inches long, and each is a one of a kind creation. Turning the head just slightly creates an even more whimsical appearance. This is the perfect gift for fans of Alice in Wonderland!

I had a few pairs of "illusion" earrings like this, with the head on one side of the ear and the body on the back, looking as though the cat were actually coming through the earlobes. The Cheshire cat is such a fun character, turning him into a pair of whimsical earrings only seemed natural!
