This little cutie is Kaitlin. She is a 17" tall handcrafted cloth doll. Her body and clothes, including underwear and shoes, were completely hand sewn with great care. Her body is made from cotton interlock fabric and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Her facial features were handpainted with fabric paint. Kaitlin has long blond yarn hair, which can be styled. Her dress is made from a soft stretchy material and fastens at the back with velcro. She's wearing white underwear with her name printed on the waistband. I've signed and dated the bottom of her right foot. She's wearing shoes made from pink felt trimmed with purple. They fasten with a purple and gold button. Kaitlin is a one of a kind creation, handcrafted with loving care.

The fabric for the dress was actually the inspiration for this doll. It's actually one of my grandmother's old dresses. I've always loved the color and the pattern, and on this doll it just looks so pretty. This is also a very soft and huggable doll. I really enjoyed making her.
