This fun fall candle holder was sculpted by hand in polymer clay and depicts a cute squirrel gathering acorns amongst fallen Oak leaves. The entire piece measures 6 inches at the widest point and 3 inches tall. The red, orange, and brown oak leaves were sculpted from polymer clay and textured with veins to add realism. The squirrel's fur was also textured. The glass candle holder is 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall and accommodates a votive candle, which will be included with your order. The acorns have real caps, which I collected while out walking, and acorns made of polymer clay. I covered the base of the holder with green felt. This would make a whimsical and fun Autumn decoration.

I've been watching "my" young squirrel gathering food for the last several weeks. I think the little guy has a nest in the tree in my front yard. Naturally I had to immortalize him in polymer clay! Autumn is definitely an inspirational season for me, and I find myself creating many Fall themed items.
