These pretty little red and gold heart shaped post earrings are perfect for Valentine's Day! I sculpted the hearts from red polymer clay, then used a heart shaped stamp in the center. Before baking I dusted the raised surfaces with gold Pearl Ex powder. Even the back of these 3/4 inch long earrings is cute, with a tiny heart cut out around the post. The post is securely sandwiched between two layers of polymer clay. I sealed the surface of the clay with high gloss glaze.

Valentine's Day is coming and I've been in a "heart" kind of mood. I wanted to make simple, pretty earrings that could be worn at any occasion.
