These pretty little earrings were made by using a rose stamp on ovals of blue polymer clay. Before baking I colored the rose impressions with red Pearl Ex powder, and used green Pearl Ex powder to color the stem and leaves. I sandwiched the stainless steel earring posts between two layers of clay. These pretty flower earrings measure only 3/4 inches tall and 1/2 inches wide. I sealed them with high gloss glaze for added shine and durability.

I've found myself creating a lot of spring themed and flower items while waiting for the real flowers to bloom ;-)
