Handmade Polymer Clay Cute Black and White Cat Pen Sculpture

Product Description

This cute black and white cat is clinging to this pen for all he's worth! I covered the pen barrel in brown polymer clay and sculpted the cat by hand from black and white polymer clay. I textured his fur before baking and gave him a little pink nose. The pen measures 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the cat's ears. The cat himself measures 3 inches long. Not only is this pen lightweight and comfortable to write with, the ink cartridge is replaceable. To remove the old ink cartridge grasp the yip with pliers and twist it gently as you pull. Then just insert a new ink cartridge. This pen, which writes in black ink, will last for years. For added durability I coated it with high gloss glaze. This would make a unique and useful gift for any cat lover!

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

This cat pen was inspired by Christi Friesen's book Cats Big and Small as well as my own love of felines. I've made similar pens for myself and as gifts in the past, and I thought it was about time I shared these cute creations with my customers.
