This adorable stuffed cat was knit by hand and measures 10" tall when seated. I alternated stripes of yellow and orange yarn and used white yarn for the paws, muzzle, belly, and tail tip. This cat is stuffed with polyester fiberfill and has been securely sewn together. I used yellow plastic safety eyes and a black plastic safety nose. I embroidered the mouth with black embroidery thread. This soft stuffed toy is sweet and cuddly and safe for young children.

I love kitty cats in all forms! This is just sort of toy I would have adored as a child. When I'm making items intended for children I try to think like a child and remember what I used to enjoy when I was small. This cat is small enough for young children to hold easily, and has no small parts that can be removed or swallowed.
