This cute monkey was knit by hand using soft brown Homespun acrylic yarn. This plush toy is lots of fun to cuddle and play with. His body, arms, legs, head, and tail were knit holding a strand of reddish brown yarn together with a strand of brown and gray variegated yarn. The face and muzzle were knit and crocheted with a cream colored yarn. This monkey was created using my own original pattern and is stuffed with polyester fiberfill. His plastic googly eyes were securely sewn on and his mouth and nostrils were embroidered with black acrylic yarn. When seated the monkey measures 11 inches tall, and can easily be posed any way you like. This cute character is all about fun and whimsy!

I love animals of all sorts, but I'd never knit a monkey before. So I challenged myself to create my own pattern and came up with this adorable plush creature. Using the soft Homespun yarn made him very nice to cuddle and play with. And I can honestly say, this toy is a lot of fun! I always "test" (play with) my stuffed animals to make sure they're fun for kids.
