This is Peggy, a sweet cloth doll sewn from muslin and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Her face is covered with stretch polyester fabric, allowing me to add facial contours with quilt batting underneath. She stands 14" tall was sewn by hand, as were her clothes. She has reddish brown hair made from soft acrylic/ wool blend yarn and her pretty blue eyes were hand painted with fabric paint. She wears white bloomers and a white lace underskirt. Her blue skirt with a tiny heart print is covered by a red apron. Her shoes were sewn from brown felt. All of her clothes were sewn to her body, so there are no small parts for young children to pull off. I signed and dated the bottom of Peggy's shoe. Peggy is a sweet, one of a kind creation, handcrafted with loving care. Any little girl or doll collector would love to receive this adorable doll for Christmas!

I discovered a new doll book, and had to try out some of the patterns. Of course I adapted this doll and changed the patterns to suit my own personal tastes. I think Peggy ended up with just the right amount of sweetness in her personality!
