This pretty little fairy was sculpted by hand from polymer clay and measures 6" tall (1:12 dollhouse scale). Her arms and legs are fully poseable and her sparkling purple boots were painted with acrylic paint. Her green eyes were also painted by hand with acrylic paint and sealed with high gloss glaze. She wears a headband of multicolored glass beads. Her dress was sewn by hand and consists pink lace over an inner layer of white lace. Her wings are made from the same fabric as her dress and trimmed with silver wired edging, allowing them to be posed as well. This doll would be a magical addition to any dollhouse or doll collection.

I really enjoyed making this little fairy. Her small size allowed me to use some scraps of very pretty fabric and trim. The fact that she's poseable makes her even more fun. Personally, I would have loved to have a fairy doll like this for my dollhouse when I was a child!
