I use 3 strands of strong, durable yarn for the base (shown here in dark brown, or please let me know which colors you'd like for the base of the throw I design specifically for you).

Then I will add one foot of thick, beautiful fringe on each end, as shown in these images (or other photos here for examples):

This richly textured throw blanket is warm without being suffocating and is the perfect, snuggle size to enfold and nurture an individual or a couple (6.5 feet long including fringe x 3 feet wide to start; it's very elastic because of the special stitch I used, so it stretches to 5 feet or wider).

It makes a lovely bed scarf or warmer because it easily covers the width of a queen sized bed, as shown.

As with most of my work, please just let me know if you'd like yours a little different; custom orders & special requests are welcome and I generally can make a design more heavy or lightweight, wider or thinner, shorter or longer, use different colors, etc.
